Lector Formation Workshops

The Diocese of Alexandria will be offering Lector Formation workshops for those individuals who are interested in serving or who currently may serve as a Lector in their parish.  To serve in this role, one must be of good standing with their Catholic faith and need the approval of their pastor.  All training workshops will present the same material and will last no longer than two and a half hours.  If you would like to sign up for the next workshop, please complete and submit the form below or contact Dcn Jason Lavergne at (318) 445-6424 ext 207 or by email at dcnjlavergne@diocesealex.org.

Saturday Oct. 7, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – St. Joseph Catholic Center, 4400 Coliseum Blvd., Alexandria

Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Natchitoches

Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – St. Francis de Sales Church, Echo
