Join us for the St. Joseph School Fair, Oct. 12-13! The fair starts after the 4:00 p.m. Mass at Mater Dolorosa Church in Plaucheville. Tons of good food will be available to enjoy including, fried catfish dinner cooked by the Knights of Columbus Council 2142. The dinners will include fried catfish, white beans, coleslaw and a roll for $8.00. Multiple other food booths to include: hamburgers and fries, Carlos’s famous eggrolls, funnel cakes, cake booth, boudin and cracklins and much more. Tons of games for the kids to play and bingo for the adults. Everyone will have the opportunity to stop by the large silent auction to bid on some amazing items. The live band Dirty Blonde will hit the bandstand at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and sure to give us a good time. On Sunday plate lunches will begin being served in the cafeteria at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.. The dinners consist of cochon-de-lait pork, BBQ chicken, rice dressing, coleslaw, yams and roll for $9.00. An authentic Cajun band will be playing on the bandstand for everyone to enjoy on Sunday.
