A group of the ladies from the Altar Society ended their Season of Service from St. Juliana on April 29 at The Oaks in Pineville, LA. 3 containers with snacks and diabetic socks were taken to the residents. Also, we traveled to Hilltop Nursing Home in Pineville to visit Lady Betty Ray for her 90th birthday. She received a birthday shoe box gift filled with her favorite snacks.

Members of the Knights of Columbus, St. Alphonsus Council #3088 (Hessmer) volunteered their weekend and installed the signs for the new rosary walk at Maryhill Renewal Center. It is an extensive path through the wooded acreage.

For the Youth groups S.O.S. project this past Saturday, we cleaned the tables and chairs that Cabrini School and Parish use. The kids hit the ground running and never complained. We started at 9:00 and finished around 2:30.

One of the ways St. Joseph Catholic Church encourages fellowship among its parishioners is through our Community Meal Ministry. All attending this event enjoy delicious meals and homemade desserts prepared and served by our own parishioners.
