In addition to Advent penance services, the Diocese of Alexandria will offer an Advent day for confession on Dec. 5 when most churches within the Diocese will offer a time in the evening to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Some churches may offer this on Dec. 4 or Dec. 6 due to previously scheduled events.
