DESCRIPTION:The Diocese of Alexandria\, along with clergy\, deacons and spiritual directors are hosting a silent retreat during lent\, on March 2-5 at Maryhill. This retreat is to all men and women 18 or older\, who are seeking quiet reflective prayer time. Your time at Maryhill will include daily Mass and adoration\, daily time with a spiritual director and the sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered. The Retreat starts on Thursday night and ends Sunday at 3pm. Retreat fees of $275 include a private room on the north side of Maryhill and meals. A deposit of $75 and a registration form is needed to secure your spot. Limited availability. DESCRIPTION:Locally\, Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church in Forest Hill\, will celebrate this feast day with a 5:00 p.m. Mass at the church\, in Forest Hill. There will be a dance and dinner afterwards at St. Martin Church\, Lecompte.  There will be much traditional/indigenous food\, music and dancing throughout the night.  There will not be a procession this year.\n\nOur Lady of Guadalupe is Mexico’s patron saint. This feast day is important and celebrated in Latino/Hispanic communities across the country. Many participants dress in traditional garments and the celebrations typically include large fiestas and dancing.
