Two to be ordained as transitional deacons
The Transitional Diaconate Ordination for the Diocese of Alexandria has been RESCHEDULED AND RELOCATED due to COVID-19.
Due to the extended Stay At Home Order for the City of New Orleans and along with other dioceses served by Notre Dame Seminary, our seminarians Robert Johnson and Thomas Kennedy will be Ordained to the Diaconate by Archbishop Gregory Aymond at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans on May 16 INSTEAD OF May 22 at the Minor Basilica of The Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches.

At 10:00 a.m. on May 16, the ordination Mass live stream will be broadcast at this link:
The following day, Thomas Kennedy’s first preached mass at Notre Dame Seminary will be available at the following link and also on the Notre Dame Seminary Facebook. May 17, 2020, 11am:
The ordination at St. Louis Cathedral will be private and CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.
