School Feeding Sites: During the closure of our schools, the students from the Diocese of Alexandria Catholic Schools are eligible to receive meals (breakfast and lunch). Listed here are the feeding sites in Avoyelles, Natchitoches, and Rapides Parish.  This information is subject to change.  Please visit each of these school’s social media pages for any changes and new or updated information.  For more information, please call Janet Burgess, Child Nutrition Supervisor at 318-445-6424 ext. 234.


CLECO: To help customers deal with the rippling effects of COVID-19, the new coronavirus, Cleco is temporarily suspending service disconnects and late fees on customer accounts effective today 3/13/2020 until further notice.  View the information  here.

Dept. of Education – School meals: After securing waivers from the federal government that enable schools to serve meals to all children age 18 and younger regardless of their location and income during the extended school closure period, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) today published a parish-by-parish list of school meal sites (will open in new tab)to inform families where, when and how free food can be accessed. https://cnp.doe.louisiana.gov/ServingSites/.
