Lector Formation Workshop

The Diocese of Alexandria is offering Lector Formation workshops for those individuals who are interested in serving or who currently may serve as a Lector in their parish.  To serve in this role, one must be of good standing with their Catholic faith and need the approval of their pastor.  All training workshops will present the same material and will last no longer than two and a half hours.  If you would like to sign up for the next workshop, please complete and submit the form below or contact Dcn Jason Lavergne at (318) 445-6424 ext 207 or by email at dcnjlavergne@diocesealex.org.

Saturday, July 19, 9:00-11:30 a.m. — Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Campti

Saturday, July 26, 12:30-3:00 p.m. — St. Paul the Apostle Church, Mansura (following the EMHC workshop)

Saturday, Aug. 23, 12:30-3:00 p.m. — St. Edward the Confessor Mission Church, Fishville (following the EMHC workshop)

There is no need to register and no charge to attend. When the session is completed you will receive a certificate. We will be happy to have you!
