Service Crew is an engaging retreat and service experience. Members provide hands-on work while still participating in conference sessions.

WHO: Service Crew is open to teens who have previously attended a Steubenville Youth Conference and are currently entering their sophomore year of high school through those graduating this spring. Service Crew Staff is open to those age 18 or older, and have graduated high school by fall 2010. Staff members should also have completed the Safe Environment requirements for their home diocese (check with your parish or Diocesan Office of Safe Environment for more details).

WHAT: Service Crew is an engaging retreat and service experience. Members gather for retreat and community activities and then prep the conference site for the arrival of 3500+ teens, volunteers, priests, and religious! Service Crew provides hands-on work throughout the conference, serving the needs of all participants, staff, and volunteers. Service Crew is a great way to connect with other youth, learn more about the Catholic faith, and serve the local Church.

WHEN: Members come together beginning on Tuesday, June 21, prior to the conference weekend and continue Service Crew activities through Sunday, June 26.

WHERE: Service Crew activities take place at Maryhill Renewal Center in Pineville, LA. The conference weekend will be held at the Rapides Parish Coliseum.

FEES and APPLICATIONS: All Application materials are due by May 20, 2011!
All TEAM* Applicants must submit the following:
Completed Application Form;
2011 Notarized Service Crew Liability Form;
Completed Short Essay Question Form;
NEW: Completed Recommendation Form, from your parish Youth Minister, DRE, or Priest;
Payment of only $75 (includes food and lodging for the week, conference fee, and 2 t-shirts);
Short answers to the questions listed on the application;
and 1 (ONE) Clear photo of yourself.

Code of Conduct form signed by you and your priest; 
NEW: All NEW Staff Members (those who have never before participated as a Service Crew Staff Member for the Steubenville South Conference) must also submit a Recommendation form completed by your parish Youth Minister, DRE, or Priest.
Staff members attend FREE!

* The Steubenville South Office reserves the right to ask any applicant to serve in another capacity or to attend the Conference weekend with their youth group rather than participating in Service Crew activities.
