Maryhill Renewal Center, founded in 1948 by the Most Reverend Charles P. Greco, Bishop of the Diocese of Alexandria, is now under the leadership of the Most Reverend Ronald P. Herzog.

Easily accessible from major highways, Maryhill is located just northeast of Pineville on the edge of a central shopping area with access to large chains, stores, motels, restaurants, churches and even a convention center.  The Maryhill Renewal Center offers year-round accommodations situated in the quiet of 186 acres of pine forest with walking paths. Two large events can be hosted simultaneously, one at the Retreat Center on the south side of the lake and the other at the Youth Center on the northern shore.

The Retreat Center accommodations provide 44 rooms, each with a double bed and private bath, along with two partly handicapped-accessible rooms, each with a single bed and private bath. These units have individual HVAC, are carpeted and are ideal for any group wanting the traditional retreat house amenities. You will also find two chapels, and comfortable meeting space for groups up to 80.

The Youth Center is available for groups of all ages. Here there is full commercial kitchen, dining rooms and a pavilion with picnic tables and a huge barbeque pit. This meeting area will accommodate 200 persons and is the newest and nicest area at Maryhill.

Depending on the season, a group can also use the in-ground swimming pool and bathhouse.

Overnight accommodations at the Youth Center are rustic. They include 5 camp cabins with separate shower and toilet facilities and 4 other cabins with attached shower and toilet facilities.

Many events at Maryhill have always been self-hosted -- the space has been provided and the renting group has been responsible for its own program, meals, on-site housing, preparation and clean-up. Today all events are self-hosted although local caterers and service companies are willing to offer assistance. Click on the links at the right for the Pricing Schedule and additional details.
