Established in 1968, The Church Today is the official newspaper for the Diocese of Alexandria, Louisiana. What better way to keep up with the news, events, and people in the Diocese, than to read The Church Today!

FREE of CHARGE!
Since August, 2006, The Church Today started being mailed FREE, once a month, to all Catholic households in the Diocese of Alexandria!

This bold step by Bishop Ronald Herzog to further evangelization, will now make it possible to reach all 16,500 households in the diocese or the approximately 48,000 Catholic individuals in the diocese. Now, when information is provided in The Church Today, the potential for reaching every Catholic in the diocese is increased by 80 percent.

How to Submit News
The Church Today welcomes news from any Catholic church, school, organization in the diocese. The general deadline to remember for submitting news is the first week of each month.  If you have a story idea, please contact us at jpetrus@diocesealex.org
