The Office of Religious Formation and Training seeks to guide others into a lifelong encounter with, and formation in, Jesus Christ.  We assist disciples of all ages in their journey to full maturity in the Roman Catholic Church through human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral growth.

We accomplish this through Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Adult Faith Formation, and Religious Education on the parish level. We also offer resources and ministry helps including events on the parish, deanery, and diocesan levels. See the Diocesan Calendar for current events and resources available.

YOUTH MINISTRY - See what's going on in Youth Ministry, including updated resources and information on our S.A.L.T. Retreats for high school youth.  Also check out our information on the STEUBENVILLE SOUTH YOUTH CONFERENCE, Rooted, to be held June 22 - 24, 2012!

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY - See the Diocesan calendar for upcoming Young Adult events, including the 9th annual YOUNG ADULT CONFERENCE, Faith: Our Generation, to be held March 18 - 20, 2011!  Also get contact information for local Campus Ministries on the Louisiana College LSU-Alexandria campuses.

Other ministries provided through our office include GABRIEL'S CRY and UNIFIED.  Gabriel's Cry is a group of gifted musicians and singers who have been brought together over the past few years to share their ministry of music with others.  Unified is a community gathering created to bring people of all ages closer to Christ by incorporating the gifts of evangelization and catechesis.

RESOURCE CENTER- The Office of Religious Education is excited to offer the Diocesan Resource Center, as well as materials for all ages! Contact our office for more information on resources available or to learn how to donate materials to the Resource Center.
